Problem Note 40346: Using the BL_ENCODING option with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum to bulk load data results in 'Invalid option name "BL_ENCODING"' error

The following error can result when specifying the BL_ENCODING option with the bulk load facility with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum:

ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name "BL_ENCODING".

The BL_ENCODING option is not currently recognized as a valid option when using the bulk load facility.

The following example code generates the error:

libname myconn greenplm dsn=MyDSN user=MyUser password=MyPassword; data myconn.mydata (BULKLOAD=YES BL_FORMAT=CSV BL_ENCODING=gb18030 BL_QUOTE="'" BL_DELIMITER=',' BL_NULL=. BL_HOST='111.111.111.111');
